Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and other relevant financial documents.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
2. Stock & Inventory Management
Oversee inventory accounting and coordinate with the stores/production team for accurate stock levels.
Monitor material movement (raw material, WIP, finished goods) and conduct periodic stock audits.
Ensure accurate valuation of inventory in accordance with accounting standards.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Handle all direct and indirect tax matters (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of statutory dues.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments for assessments and compliance.
4. Payroll Management
Supervise end-to-end payroll processing including salary computation, statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT), and disbursements.
Maintain employee records and coordinate with HR for payroll-related matters.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in budget preparation, cost analysis, and monitoring of expenditures.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial strategies to improve profitability.
6. Systems & Tools
Expert-level user of Tally ERP – for accounting, inventory, and statutory compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel – including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
CA / MBA in Finance & Accounts (preferred: experience in manufacturing/industrial setup).
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance.
Experience with stock and inventory systems in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
