The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the dealership, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily financial transactions of the dealership.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and maintain budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and process payroll.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory record.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other professionals as required.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the automobile industry would be an added advantage.
