Robert Half has an exceptional opportunity for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company in the Retail - Clothes & Access industry. Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. Within this dynamic department, you will have the opportunity to advance and grow your career. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Denver, Colorado area.
Major responsibilities
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed
• Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
• Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
• Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
• Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
• Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned
• Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Requirements
• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
• 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Foundational knowledge in Form 10++
• Month end closings experience
• NetSuite experience required
• Accounts Payable (AP) experience
• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
