We are looking for an Accounts Payable Lead to join a rapidly growing SaaS organization headquartered in Bangalore. Check out the details below:
Position: Accounts Payable Lead
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: CA / CA Inter
Experience: 8+ years
Industry: Fast-growing SaaS Company
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only
Must Have: Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing:
• Receive, review, and approve invoices for payments in accordance with company agreements.
2. Payment Processing:
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other financial records.
3. Account Reconciliation:
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and accurate.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues.
4. Vendor Management:
• Maintain up-to-date vendor files and contact information.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
• Assist with vendor statement reconciliations.
5. Financial Reporting:
• Support month-end closing activities (prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation, accruals, flux analysis).
• Assist with year-end closing activities including 1099 & 1042 reporting.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.
6. Compliance and Controls:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements (TDS, TCS, GST, MSME).
• Maintain accurate historical financial records.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
7. Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and evolving regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Education: CA / CA Inter with 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
