Accounts Payable Head

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

Reporting To: Financial Controller

 Responsible as Team Lead to ensure correct and timely payments as per defined TATs and

policies

 Improvising payable operations to the next level by setting up strong system/procedural

controls, SOPs and customer centric approach.

 Periodic vendor reconciliations and coordination

 Releasing actual/projected cash flows and highlighting deviations as per budgets.

 Strong knowledge and adherence to relevant statutory requirements including TDS, GST, PF and

ESI etc.

 Responsible for timely and correct monthly close activities for payable area including balance

sheet and PL reconciliations with related schedules.

 Review and participating in formation of company policies related to payments and e.g. travel,

reimbursements etc.

 Working closely with supply chain, marketing, admin and procurement teams on new

commercial arrangements including agreements validations

 Have handled statutory audits and other internal audits/due diligence activities (preferably with

Big4).

 Payroll accounting and bank reconciliations.

 Driving automation and simplifications.

 Good experience of dealing with Bankers on various operational matters

 Sound knowledge of working with SAP

 Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to manage large cross functional stakeholders

and projects.

 Strong team handling skills to motivate team members to enhance their performance,

development, and efficiency.

 Capability to deliver in fast growing setup.

 Strong understanding of payable function of large enterprise.

 M.COM/MBA - With 8 years + experience (with minimum 5 years as Team Lead in Payables)

 CA/CWA - With 4 years + experience (with post qualification experience in Payables
