YOU WILL:
Join a stable residential real estate development company with operations in Seattle, Southern California, and Texas. In this role, you will handle end‑to‑end accounts payable processing, including coding and paying invoices, entering contracts into the accounting system, and managing lien waivers. You’ll help maintain accurate job cost records, support contract compliance, and keep documentation organized and up to date. You will work closely with project teams and vendors to ensure timely payments and resolve billing issues efficiently.
Principle Accountabilities:
Process invoices for payment.
Code invoices to Job Cost.
Match invoices to subcontractor commitments.
Verify required paperwork has been received (lien waivers, insurance certificates, etc.).
Reconcile vendor statements.
Enter committed schedules of values and change orders into the accounting system.
Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments for outstanding A/P.
Collect tax‑compliance documents for new vendor setup (W‑9, insurance).
Prepare year‑end tax reports (1099s).
Troubleshoot with vendors, subcontractors, and internal employees to resolve billing or payment issues
Desired Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (preferred)
2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
