Job Description
We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk for an assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is integral to our finance team and involves handling account reconciliation, billing, cash applications, and cash collections. As part of this role, you will be expected to use software tools such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
• Maintain precise records of customer credits.
• Efficiently handle billing tasks and cash applications.
• Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial tasks and transactions.
• Conduct cash collections and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all financial regulations and procedures.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Experience with Billing procedures and Cash Applications is necessary
• Knowledge of Cash Collections processes is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with QuickBooks for financial management and operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
