Job Description
Location: Gurgaon( We are looking for Gurgaon and NCR candidate only)
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing first level administrative support to the Finance Team – Americas, handling clients located primarily in United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve client’s billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Run beginning and month end recurring billing and ensure all revenue is recognized.
• Verify invoice installation, technician and event services orders. Correct discrepancies and follow up where required.
Qualifications:
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to work late evening/early morning shift to coincide with customers’ business hours. North America shift
• Prior experience as an accounts receivable clerk
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (MS Dynamics NAV preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Some post-secondary education in a related field
