A small but busy accountancy practice in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for an Accounts Senior to join the team.
This is a hands-on role in a supportive and friendly environment, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong client relationships. The position offers flexible working hours to suit candidates looking for part-time work or school-hour flexibility.
The role will involve:
- Building relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor
- Attending and leading client meetings
- Providing tax advice and planning
- Preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns (CT600) for limited companies
- Considering personal tax implications when preparing company accounts
- Reviewing self assessment tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by junior staff
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts
Requirements:
- You will have worked within an accountancy firm, ideally qualified or have at least 3 years of experience
- Experience using IRIS Elements is advantageous
- Strong IT skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Confident in client-facing situations and capable of reviewing work prepared by others
