Job Title: Admin and Accounts Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a positive and proactive individual to join our team as an Admin and Accounts Assistant. This full-time position requires a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and a strong focus on contributing to the efficient functioning of our administrative and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing:
Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all necessary documentation is included in the invoicing process.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries.
Ordering:
Coordinating and placing orders for supplies and materials as needed.
Maintaining accurate records of orders and receipts.
Negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms.
Delivery Co-ordination:
Facilitate and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
Liaise with relevant departments to optimize delivery schedules.
Inventory Checks:
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
Report discrepancies and work with the team to address any issues.
Accounting Software:
Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and records.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in administrative and accounts roles.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. MYOB).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
