Administrative Assistant | RA Accountants LLP | Salary: £Competitive
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide proactive administrative support to a busy accountancy firm based in Harrow-on-the-Hill.
RA Accountants LLP are proud to be specialists within the healthcare and franchise sectors, supporting the likes of dentists, pharmacists and veterinarians in addition to franchise businesses such as Subway, Pizza Hut and EE to name a few.
We have enjoyed significant growth over the past few years and we now looking to recruit a new Administrative Assistant to join our support department.
As a key point of contact between RA and clients, affiliates and external parties, your role as Administrative Assistant will be to be a key mediator and communicator whilst managing your internal resources to ensure our clients get the best attainable support and service.
As the successful candidate you will have previous administrative experience and should be used to working in a busy and corporate environment. You will be able to multitask, prioritise and manage various projects at the same time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering the phone and transferring calls, taking messages as required and emailing the relevant parties
- Covering reception and ensuring visitors are provided with an exceptional experience
- Arranging lunches for partners and guests
- Ensure boardrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times
-- Ensuring all post and documents are scanned and distributed to relevant parties in a timely fashion
- Franking and posting all out-going mail. Going to the Post Office as required
- All administration tasks, including photocopying, scanning, manual updates, document binding, other daily filing
- Checking stocks and ordering stationery supplies and consumables for the office
- Booking couriers for packages and parcels
- Supporting Administration Supervisor and other departments within the business as and when needed
- All other ad-hoc duties required
Knowledge, skills and attributes
Essential:
- Proactive, efficient, organised and comfortable working without support
- Polite and friendly manner and able to communicate at all levels
- Reliable, professional and able to use initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prepare and serve lunch to partners and guests in a stylish and professional manner
- Previous waitering experience beneficial
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) minimum, with grades A-C to include English and Maths
- Strong IT skills and word processing (Microsoft office)
