Job description, work day and responsibilities
As a vital team member, you will embody QPS values and adhere to established service quality standards and occupational health and safety policies. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering comprehensive financial administrative support by managing procurement processes, overseeing ICT asset and equipment management, handling software licensing, budgeting, and managing accounts payable and receivable using SAP/R3 systems. You will also maintain an organized records management system for assets, equipment, and software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
In addition to administrative duties, you will provide exemplary customer service, including preparing quotes and communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will support a geographically dispersed team remotely and contribute to business systems' best practices by reviewing and recommending improvements. Compliance with Queensland Health's procurement and financial policies is essential as you develop and maintain procedures that support these standards.

To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality ICT services to eHealth Queensland clients by efficiently coordinating multiple tasks and working independently, possess well-developed interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and communication, have a strong understanding of asset management, procurement, and records management policies and practices, and show the capability to quickly learn Service Now and ITIL Service Management processes, particularly in incident and configuration management.
