About the role


The Administrative Support Officer delivers a broad range of administrative and operational tasks, with a strong focus on financial processing, meeting coordination, travel bookings, document preparation, and database / record maintenance. The role holder will be expected to manage competing priorities and adapt to frequent changes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.

The role requires a high level of ownership, reliability, and problem-solving ability, supporting internal workflows and responding to enquiries with professionalism and clarity. You will be part of a collaborative team that provides executive support to the group leadership team, contributing to a high-performing and efficient work environment.

About you

You are a reliable and proactive professional with a strong work ethic and a commitment to getting things done. You take ownership of your responsibilities and excel in managing competing priorities, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes even in fast-paced and dynamic settings.

Our ideal candidate will be:

Proficient in financial systems and processes, including transaction processing and budget tracking.
Experienced in using administrative and financial systems platforms such as SAP.
Experienced in reprioritising tasks based on changing needs and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Skilled in travel bookings and calendar management using tools such as Microsoft Outlook
A strong communicator, able to respond to enquiries effectively and escalate issues appropriately.
Confident in coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
An effective problem solver who contributes to process improvements and team success
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability.

Essential Requirements

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Pre-Employment Health Assessment.

The temporary vacancy requires the successful candidate to hold an active WWCC (arranged at your own expense) prior to commencing in the role.
