Job Description
To perform a wide variety of responsible and clerical duties for the Fleet department; and to provide information and assistance to the Fleet Customer service base. The anticipated hiring range for this role is $45,972.16 - $52,867.98. The full range for this role is $45,972.16 - $64,361.02. Please note : This is a temporary, non-benefited position.
Examples of Duties for Success
• Greet customers and generate work orders from service requests.
• Answer phones in the shop.
• Monitor preventative maintenance reports for scheduling purposes. This person serves as the primary contact that relays repair status information to county user departments.
• Open and close work orders
• Assist in coordinating emergency repair and service calls.
• Advise Shop Foreman and Operations Manager of scheduling issues or problems
• Assist in transferring of vehicles and equipment.
• Order shop supplies, windshield repairs and replacements.
• Support and assist with policies and procedures that promote prompt, courteous customer service.
• Perform administrative duties of general clerical work.
• Maintain files for equipment
• Operate a variety of office equipment.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Follows up with technicians regarding status of work being performed.
Supervisory Responsibilities : None.

More Qualifications for Success
• Experience : Two years of customer service experience. Minimal automotive knowledge preferred.
• Education and Training : High School Diploma or GED completion, supplemented by clerical course work. Demonstrate ability to use a computer and related software.
• License or Certificate : Do you currently possess a valid Colorado driver's license with no restrictions, or are you able to obtain one within 30 business days of hire?
• Background Check : Must pass a criminal (CBI) background check.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and around non-hazardous chemical and lubricants
• Ability to work in loud noise and dusty work environment.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, reach, crawl, twitch, climb and lift 25 pounds.
