Job Summary
Student Affairs is a collection of integrated units that collaborates with faculty, staff and students to enhance the student experience. We promote an inclusive, holistic and student-centric approach to learning and academic success and act as a professional resource in the delivery of evidence-based student enrolment, wellness, development and academic support programs and services. Reporting to the Manager of the Student Accessibility Centre, the Administrative Clerk will provide administrative and operational support to the three core services offered by the Student Accessibility Centre.

Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Manager and Accommodated Testing Coordinator, prepare and distribute communications for students and faculty on service processes for each of the three areas (accommodated exam service, note taking service, and assistive technology library service).
Assist with the creation of weekly and final exam schedules, including booking external room locations. Ensure logistics such as receiving test/exams from instructors, laptops, accessories and invigilation kits are secured, in working order and returned, etc.
Coordinate all aspects of the note taking service, including finding note takers, matching note takers to classes and ensuring notes are accessible using the Accommodate software.
Develop, update and maintain databases and procedure manuals as required for all operations. Assist in compiling monthly, term and annual service statistics.
Participate in the hiring process for student staff, assist in coordinating student staff schedules and clerically coordinate the creation and processing of student payroll forms.

Note
Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.

Required Qualifications
Business Administration/Administrative Professional diploma with three to five years’ of related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
Strong organizational and communication (both written and oral) skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, prioritize tasks and manage time-sensitive matters, while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated aptitude for and ability to work with technological and communications platforms and various software (e.g. digital content management systems, email software, Adobe, Microsoft Office).
