The Adviser, Transformation supports the delivery of a complex organisational transformation program through high quality project coordination, procurement support, reporting and stakeholder engagement. The role works across all elements of the team’s workplan to help achieve program outcomes through effective governance, risk management and strong collaboration.
What you’ll do:
Lead assigned tasks to support the planning, coordination and delivery of the transformation program.
Administer end-to-end procurement processes, including documentation, evaluations and recordkeeping.
Undertake research and data analysis and prepare clear options analysis, briefings and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
Provide coordination and administrative support for transformation initiatives, including scheduling, tracking activities, maintaining registers, and preparing agendas and minutes.
Contribute to effective governance by monitoring actions, risks and milestones.
Actively model VPS values and contribute to a positive team culture.
Who we’re looking for
Experience supporting procurement and project delivery, including defining tasks, coordinating activities and monitoring progress.
Strong administrative and coordination skills, with experience supporting procurement processes and understanding probity and compliance requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high quality briefs, reports and correspondence.
Flexible to work with changing priorities and across organisational boundaries.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Tertiary qualification in business, project management, public administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
