Job Overview
We are looking for an Affordable Housing Investment Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and equity investments. The ideal candidate will ensure effective benefit delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role is open to applicants with at least five years of experience, and the successful candidate will be placed at a level appropriate to their background.
The Affordable Housing Investment Manager will:
• Manage and monitor a portfolio focused on ensuring value for investors and maintaining service excellence for clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, borrowers, and external stakeholders in the assigned portfolio.
• Review audits and financial statements to evaluate investment quality and assess risks.
• Analyze construction draw requests and assess both lending and construction risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance and assign risk ratings in line with company policy.
• Conduct site inspections and partner meetings to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Interpret various legal documents to safeguard the division's financial interests.
• Prepare and present internal reports detailing portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Bancorp policies and regulatory requirements for all investment projects.
• Stay informed about tax credit policies, banking regulations, and trends affecting asset management.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Strong understanding of tax credit investment management and legal documentation.
• A background in real estate is favored.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and some familiarity with RETC is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective relationship management capabilities.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Location & Schedule
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance for three or more days each week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.

Salary Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00, varying by location and experience.
