Looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our team and lead our Agile development process. As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring our team is working effectively and efficiently, driving our success by improving team communication, managing project timelines, and guiding team members through the Agile methodology. You will also manage large teams in a distributed environment across boundaries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings to ensure the team is aligned and delivering value to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Design Team to prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on the most valuable features.
- Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities within the Agile process, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- Work with the development team to identify and remove any roadblocks or impediments to progress, allowing them to focus on delivering value.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and best practices, helping them to develop their skills and abilities.
- Monitor team performance and metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, exploring new tools, techniques, and approaches to Agile.
- Manage large teams in a distributed environment, ensuring that they are aligned and working together effectively.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- With 3-5 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master and nearly 10 years of overall professional experience
- With a track record of success in driving Agile adoption and delivering value to stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience applying them in a variety of contexts.
- Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence with experience setting it up for Agile development, with a deep understanding of Agile metrics and reporting.
- Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git or SVN, and experience integrating them into the Agile process.
- Has been associated with project/product executed in Cloud Architecture
- Industry certification in Agile, such as PMI-ACP or SAFe Agilist, demonstrates a deep understanding of Agile at scale.
- Ability to manage large teams in a distributed environment, with a proven ability to align them and drive collaboration and communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with experience leading Agile ceremonies and managing conflict and complexity.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, with the ability to bridge gaps and facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and prioritise issues and opportunities.
