Kennedys is looking to recruit an AI Lead to join in any of our UK offices. The AI Lead will be responsible for planning and delivering projects that enhance our AI capabilities. This role involves collaborating with various teams to coordinate and ensure projects align with our strategy, using digital tools to improve efficiency, and managing projects through agile methods. Although this role will sit within the IT team initially, this role is not technical based and it will largely be working alongside a prominent Partner who is leading on the AI strategy development for the business

Team

Kennedys IT is responsible for the maintenance of IT systems and security across the firm, including its portfolio of managed bespoke and off-the-shelf applications. This role will work across all IT functions and, in the case of broader projects, occasionally with other teams within the firm.

The majority of the global IT team are in London and Chelmsford, although some staff are based in other UK and non-UK offices. As a team which provides truly global service, the team are used to working remotely.

Key responsibilities
• Conception, planning, and delivery of strategic initiatives aimed at advancing our AI capabilities and projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define tactical initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the business
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to validate the feasibility and impact of proposed initiatives
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
• Act as an internal consultant to the business when interpreting user requests and provide innovative ideas of how to develop solutions for identified problems.

Required experience
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and their applications in various industries
• Proven experience working with data science teams and integrating data-driven insights into project plans
• Ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines and budgets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and advise accordingly
• Adept at articulating ideas clearly, negotiating effectively and driving consensus among diverse groups
• Able to capture user needs properly and formally
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be self-motivated in managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms used in project management, data science, and digital transformation.
• Demonstrable solid experience working with technology and digital products, especially in the area of product management and delivery
• Demonstrable solid experience in delivering digital to digital transformation projects, with a focus on integrating new technologies and processes
• Experience working with strategic approaches and applying strategic thinking to digital solutions
• Experience carrying out or hands-on management of user research activities, especially in the area of problem solving and digital transformation
• Demonstrable experience of utilising project management and agile methodology elements (certification desirable)
• Experience working in a global or multinational organisation beneficial.
