À PAQ, nous sommes une équipe (Autochtones et non-Autochtones) engagée à soutenir les Premières Nations, les Inuits et les Métis qui font face à des difficultés en matière de logement à Tio'tià:ke / Montréal. Notre approche est à la fois humaine et culturelle, basée sur l’autonomisation, la réduction des méfaits et l’esprit communautaire. Nous travaillons également avec divers partenaires pour faire avancer les droits en matière de santé et de logement des peuples autochtones en milieu urbain.
• *Ce que vous ferez**

L’aide-cuisinier(ère) est responsable d’assister les cuisiniers afin de fournir des repas nutritifs aux membres de la communauté de PAQ. Cette personne devra être présente au PAQ, au **16+ rue de la Gauchetière Est**,**les mardis et mercredis de 15h30 à 1+h30**.
• *Tâches et responsabilités**
- Nettoyer et désinfecter les surfaces de préparation des aliments pour garantir une bonne hygiène
- Laver et ranger tous les appareils de cuisine, ustensiles, planches à découper et vaisselle
- Assister les cuisiniers en effectuant des tâches de préparation de base, notamment laver et couper les légumes, assembler les ingrédients des recettes et nettoyer la viande et le poisson
- Balayer et laver les planchers de la cuisine, ainsi que nettoyer les murs
- Réceptionner, étiqueter et stocker les livraisons de denrées alimentaires et autres produits
- Répondre rapidement aux instructions et apporter les ingrédients des repas des zones de stockage à la cuisine
- Surveiller les recettes sur le feu et au four afin d’assurer une cuisson adéquate
- Vérifier que chaque commande contient le bon type et la bonne quantité d’accompagnements

- Connaissance de base de l’utilisation des équipements de cuisine

• *What you’ll be doing**

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for assisting the Cooks to provide nutritional meals to the PAQ community members. This Kitchen Helper will have to be present at PAQ, 16+ rue de la Gauchetière Est Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
• *Duties and Responsibilities**
- Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas to establish proper hygiene
- Washing and storing all cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes
- Assisting Cooks by performing basic preparatory tasks, including washing and cutting produce, combining ingredients in recipes, and cleaning meat and fish
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and wiping walls
- Receiving, labeling, and storing deliveries of produce and other items
- Promptly responding to instructions and bringing meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen
- Monitoring recipes on the stove and in the oven to ensure proper cooking
- Checking each order contains the right type and amount of side dishes
