When someone says Air Force - fast jets immediately come to mind. However, there are so many other job opportunities and roles in Healthcare, Communications, Intelligence, IT, Engineering, Security, Logistics and trades to name a few.
RAAF Base Darwin 13SQN is hosting a three day Air Force Familiarisation program. This unique opportunity aims to give students an insight into the wide range of trades and career pathways available in the Royal Australian Air Force.
Students will be involved in demonstrations and practical activities hosted by a range of Air Force personnel. Activities will include team building exercises and demonstrations of vehicles and equipment.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact and speak with Air Force personnel from a range of areas who will share knowledge of their roles, careers and experiences in Defence. The Australian Defence Force Careers team will also give a presentation on the recruiting process and be available to answer individual questions from students.
Participants will be provided with lunch each day.
