Job Description
Experience : Minimum 2 to 5 years
Skill : AIX admin with storage and application monitoring knowladge
Skill Level : L1, & L2
Note : Preferably experienced in banking projects and datacenter support experience. Ready to work on applications monitoring, file execution and storage requests etc.
AIX - 7.1, 7.2, 7.3
Candidate must have below skill set
• Work flexibility 247 rotational shift support.
• Daily Monitoring knowledge(e. OS checklist with Nmon, storage checklist)
• Onsite & Offsite Backup and restoration through VERITAS NetBackup tool knowledge.
• Filesystem Space management(e. increase decrease FS, creating and managing VG, LV, FS.
• Aware how to check storage Logs and Errpt outputs.
• Preferable knowledge in ticketing tool (SNOW)
• Replication status monitoring.
• Hardening, cron jobs,Start and stop services.
• Knowledge to take Local backup mksysb/alt_clone
• Able to communicate and understand call logging whenever hardware/ software call required
• Knowledge of Excel / PPT for monthly basic reporting
• HMC management- LPAR, DLPAR knowledge.
• Experienced in OS installation, TL/SP up gradation activity / migration, Installing file sets, upgrades.
• Experienced/ aware of Cluster Switchover and Switch back
• Idea of Incident report(RCA/CAPA)
• Backup restorations steps knowledge.
• Knowledge of Storage Management for SAN / Flash Storages, SAN Switches, etc.
• Preparing / updating of SOPs as and when needed.
• Knowledge of Host creation & assigning Lun's from storage to server
• Experienced in doing physical cabling , zoning , create volume and map to host at the datacenter.
• VAPT and Patching activity experienced
Application Activity Project related task: (candidate should be interested or aware of)
• Aware of transactions reports depending on application level
• Monitoring and understanding of binary execution
• Monitoring baking transaction Screens (e. transaction flow/load / banks interfaces management etc.)
• Aware of Application scripting execution
• Aware of File purging & file implementation.
• Knowledge of user management app user password 1st level & 2nd level and OS users as well, creation/deletion, activation/lock/unlock
Preferable:
• Storage Knowledge
• Basic Knowledge on HACMP/VCS cluster
• Basic Knowledge of NIM
• DR drill activity.
