Job Description
The Position
To manage and supervise the entire accounting and transactional processes, Cash Flow forecasting and budgets ,ensure statutory and group audit compliances, Accounts Payable and Receivable Management.
Key Individual Accountabilities
• Manage and supervise the GL, accounts payable & Receivable team of Astral, ensure robust transactional processes.
• Responsible for monthly GL closing in ERP
• Preparation of weekly cash forecast of upcoming Collection & Payments and review with Treasurer Team.
• Ensuring in overall timely and effective closure of Group/Statutory Audits for Astral §Managing banking relation and banking cost.
• Responsible for preparation and analysis of accounts payable and receivable reports, Timely closure of overdues by follow-up with relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring processing and payment of invoices as per DOA and SOP §Closure of EDPMS & IDPMS case.
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet and profit and loss account for Astral and getting this reviewed from Management
• Support secretarial compliances.
• Establishing and developing relations and being Collaborative with cross functional Department.
• Maintain high focus on compliance
• Innovative to bring efficiency in work.
• Taking Initiative to resolve long pending issues.
Key Shared Accountabilities
• Partnering with TechOps team for resolving issues related to processing of invoices
• Supporting AR, EXIM and AP teams for banking issues & other compliances.
• Working closely with Planning and Sourcing team on future cash Flow forecasting .
Minimum requirements
• Master’s Degree in Finance / Chartered Accountant.
• 5-8 years of experience in core Accounting, closing and reporting Treasury, Export/Import related Banking Operations
• Collaborate to resolve issues.
