IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Intercompany function as Analyst – Intercompany Accounting .
Your Focus
As Analyst at our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for R2R Global Intercompany transactions could be Trade and Non-trade/ PO and Non-PO based invoices, Royalties, Intercompany loans.
The role reports to Assistant Manager.
How you will contribute
• Ensure Intercompany AR Billings are raised and accounted on time.
• Monitor and Perform Monthly, Quarterly and Annual accounting closing activities.
• Maintain Intercompany Payment process including Netting.
• Manage Cash Application and Clearings.
• Reconcile all transactions during month and ensure cross validation for missing trading partner.
• Responsible for SOX and Key internal controls process flow, Risk assessment of control matrix and procedure documentation of key and non-key process controls.
• Conduct process walk through to internal/ external auditors and addressing their queries.
• Initiate and lead cross functional meeting to identify and execute resolution plan of global aged intercompany transactions.
• Confirm the balances as per closing schedules to respective teams accounting and ensure accruals are posted for un-reconciled transactions.
• Maintain Standard operating Procedures and Constantly looking for ways to improve processes.
Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
• CA (Intermediate) / CMA (Intermediate) / MBA / Bachelor in Commerce / Finance or any other relevant discipline.
• Atleast 7 to 12 years' experience with a professional BPO or Shared Service Centre environment.
• ERP (SAP) skills – Analysis for Office (AO) for Reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP Hana, EPM, AO (Analysis for Office).
• Well versed with Microsoft applications (Presentation, Excel).
• Ability to manage through others and collaborate effectively with all levels.
• Ability to prioritize important tasks and ensure they get complete timely.
• Ability to solve problem and anticipates risks and opportunities while working towards continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to operate in shifts.
