Position Overview

Are you a detail-driven financial professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights? At KPI Solutions, we're looking for a Project Control Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in driving project success from both a financial and operational perspective.

In this role, you won't just track numbers—you'll influence decisions, improve processes, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

What You'll Do

Own Project Financial Performance
• Lead financial planning and oversight for assigned projects, including budget creation, expense tracking, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Deliver accurate, timely monthly financial reporting, highlighting key insights on project health and profitability

Drive Insights & Decision-Making
• Partner closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to provide actionable financial guidance
• Analyze cost variances and proactively recommend cost control strategies
• Support leadership with clear, data-driven insights to improve project outcomes

Manage Cash Flow & Billing
• Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts
• Oversee project invoicing and billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor vendor payments and subcontractor billings to maintain financial alignment

Strengthen Controls & Processes
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, increasing efficiency and reducing risk

Support Budgeting, Forecasting & Compliance
• Contribute to company-wide budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Provide detailed variance analysis and performance reporting
• Partner with external auditors and support annual audit processes
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and reporting requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
• 3+ years of progressive accounting or project finance experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with project-based accounting (Percentage of Completion preferred)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Oracle NetSuite a plus)
