Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Antitrust Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in analyzing transactions for competition issues and merger control filing requirements, with specific expertise in the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and its implementing Rules.
Key Responsibilities
• Transaction Analysis Conduct thorough analysis of transactions to identify competition issues and determine merger control filing requirements.
• HSR Expertise Provide substantive analysis, manage procedural issues, and oversee filing logistics related to the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act.
• Antitrust Advocacy Represent clients in advocacy efforts before the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
• Sector Specialization Offer specialized legal advice in technology, life sciences, and private equity transactions.
• Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all relevant antitrust laws and regulations.
• Legal Research Conduct comprehensive legal research and stay updated on antitrust laws and regulations.
Qualifications
• Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission Must be barred in Massachusetts (MA), California (CA), Pennsylvania (PA), New York (NY), or Washington, D.C. (DC).
• Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in antitrust law, with a focus on HSR Act-related issues.
• Skills Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• Additional Expertise Experience in technology, life sciences, and private equity transactions is a plus.
