Job Description
As the region grows and BCG global analytics evolve, we are adjusting this role to help us set the strategy and roadmap for the People Analytics function in AP, making sure we are shaping a global solution for HR analytics that will work for AP and building AP specific analytics when needed to support the regional development of the business and the people priorities.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• People Analytics strategy and roadmap
Contribute to building the strategy and roadmap for people analytics in AP. Help define priorities including an analytics roadmap, with short and long-term goals and a focus on digitizing the function and expanding scope in line with business needs.
Work closely with AP Talent Transformation Senior Director, the APRO People Team and HR leadership (local, regional and global) to understand, define and deliver analytical and reporting needs in support of driving business initiatives and projects.
Develop and deliver actionable metrics, scorecards, and dashboards to identify key trends and provide insights to business monitoring using most recent technologies and tools.
• People Analytics delivery
Deliver with the team HR analyses (including both regular reporting, e.g. monthly capacity report, CDA survey, People survey, etc and ad-hoc deep-dives) and presentations to educate, inform and influence the decisions of the AP People Team, AP Management Team and other people team leadership.
Ensure the data is relevant, timely and tells a meaningful story, to guide strategic and tactical decision-making process on several people topics.
People Survey and Pulse Survey:
• Analyze survey results and conduct deep dive analyses as required to better understand underlying drivers of results.
• Be a thought partner to HR leadership and the broader HR team in delivering insight from the survey and positioning analyses for various audiences. Educate stakeholders on possible analyses and provide support in visualizing findings for communication.
• Liaise with the Global People Team on administering the survey—from ensuring the smooth implementation of survey process to collating and conveying AP feedback and recommendations.
• Enable PEOPLE survey results to be utilized as an input into the strategic planning process.

Look for ways to improve efficiency: automatization, use of digital tools, leverage of regional or global reports/tools
Contribute to the identification of HR analytics need commonalities across the region and propose solution to address these by building new dashboards, leveraging regional or global ones, or influencing the global HR analytics roadmap.
• Center of Excellence
Be the HR analytics leader in the region; coach colleagues on BCG’s problem solving and analytical approach, provide guidance to regional colleagues on how to maximize analytical capabilities of BCG’s HR systems such as Workday reporting and global dashboards.
Be the go-to person for AP HR metrics and analytical/reporting requests; respond to requests and questions related to our HR data from all stakeholders.
Establish and nurture network of people analysts in our systems. Create a sense of community, focus on upskilling and aligning on common understanding of key HR metrics.
Develop expertise in Workday reporting, Tableau, Alteryx and other analytics and visualization tools within the team.
Communicate regularly on key activities of the department: new dashboards available, training on reporting tools
• BCG Network
Establish strong working relationships with:
• Key counterparts across other global functions (e.g. Finance analytics, Recruiting) to ensure alignment and cooperation on key topics (e.g. capacity dashboards / attrition dashboard) and with the IT team for interface/collaboration on key systems (Workday, STARS)
• BCG regional and global HR Analytics community to ensure accurate interpretation of analyses, stay up to date on existing analytical tools and be able to influence global roadmap.
Represent AP in internal global reporting and analytics forums

• Providing thought leadership on how to leverage analytical concepts and methodologies to achieve strategic goals

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Human Resources, or related disciplines combined with + to 12 years working experience
• Deep technical hands-on expertise in data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting. Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, MS Office and other data visualization/analytics tools. Ideally knowledge of HR data, Workday.
• Strong commercial acumen and understands how analytics are required to drive management decisions
• Strong analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity. Strong creative problem solving with ability to craft tailored solutions to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization.
• Excellent communication and listening skills: understanding business needs and translating those needs to technical requirements. Ability to effectively communicate with senior business leaders, to effectively persuade, influence and negotiate across different cultural settings. Mastery in written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership skills, including managing, coaching, mentoring, team building and development, and conflict resolution.
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be leading the AP People Analytics team, consisting of 1 analyst based in India. You will report into the AP Talent Transformation Senior Director, and be part of the AP People Team.
You will interface regularly with your peers (regional functional leads across other people functions such as recruiting, career development, staffing etc), the AP Finance function and your counterparts in other BCG analytics teams at global level and with the IT team for interface/collaboration on key systems (Workday, STARS). In addition, you will interface with business leaders (People Chairs), HR Directors and people analysts across our 5 systems
