Job Title: HR Trainee
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Trainee to join our team. As an intern, you will assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to supporting the interview and on boarding processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable exposure to the recruitment function within a dynamic HR team, and to develop essential skills in talent sourcing, candidate management, and recruitment marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing: Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media and personal networks.
Screening & Shortlisting: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and help with shortlisting candidates for interviews.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Candidate Engagement: Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide updates, answer queries, and maintain a positive candidate experience.
Talent Pool Management: Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings.
Recruitment Analytics: Support the team with data collection and reporting, tracking key metrics like time-to-fill, candidate quality, and diversity metrics.
Employer Branding: Contribute to initiatives that enhance the company's employer brand, including social media outreach and participation in recruitment events.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR and Talent Acquisition team, including maintaining candidate databases and preparing recruitment-related documentation.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in talent acquisition, recruitment, and HR practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) and basic recruitment tools (ATS, job boards) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for helping others.
