We provide support to both emerging and established designers, offering a seamless journey from initial design concept through launch. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Apparel Pattern Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating precise patterns for various apparel categories, ensuring proper fit, function, and design accuracy. This role involves collaborating closely with designers and production team to bring garment concepts to life while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pattern Development & Technical Execution:
Create accurate first patterns, production patterns, and grade rules based on design specifications.
Modify and adjust patterns to achieve the perfect fit and proportions.
Translate sketches and tech packs into functional patterns.
Fit & Sample Coordination:
Make necessary pattern corrections based on fittings and feedback.
Collaborate with designers and sample makers to refine garment construction.
Ensure patterns maintain consistency in sizing, proportions, and balance across styles.
Production:
Prepare detailed pattern specs, including seam allowances, grading, and construction details.
Work closely with production teams and manufacturers to ensure smooth sample-to-production transitions.
Troubleshoot fit and construction issues during the sampling and production process.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Experience in pattern making for apparel - swim, active, streetwear
Education: Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in pattern-making software (Tukatech,Optitex, or CLO3D)
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Team Player: Ability to work closely with designers, sample makers, and production teams.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of different fabric types, draping techniques, and garment finishing processes.
