Position: Application Security Specialist
Type: Contract / Task-Based
Compensation: $38-$60 /hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze application security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behaviors.
• Classify vulnerabilities such as authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues.
• Evaluate secure coding practices and develop remediation strategies.
• Assist in creating and validating security-focused reasoning datasets to teach AI how to accurately assess application risks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years in application, product, or software security roles.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities.
• Ability to differentiate between actual exploitability and theoretical risks.
• Proficient in clear written communication and structured security reasoning.
