UNIVERSAL EV INDIA PVT LTD is seeking a strong, hands-on Applications Team Head with proven leadership capability to own, lead, and drive the Applications function while supporting operational excellence and coordinating closely with our US Head Office.
This role requires someone who can lead from the front, take accountability, mentor teams, and make decisions, not just follow instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the Applications Team based in Ahmedabad, ensuring high performance, discipline, and timely delivery
Own end-to-end responsibility for application workflows, documentation quality, timelines, and outputs
Act as the primary point of leadership between the Ahmedabad team and senior management at the Head Office in Texas, USA
Super-efficient in reading, analysing, and interpreting proposal and grant application documents, extracting key requirements and guiding the team accordingly
Drive clarity and solutions by escalating issues, obtaining answers from the US Head Office, and unblocking the team wherever required
Review, interpret, and guide the team on budgets and EV Infrastructure grant proposal documents
Lead the application process for EV Infrastructure grants released in the United States, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deadlines
Enforce standards, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
Support operational activities and take initiative to improve processes and efficiency
Leadership Expectations:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, take ownership, and deliver results
Strong decision-making skills with the confidence to push back, clarify, and align stakeholders
Excellent command of English (read, write, speak) with the ability to communicate clearly with international leadership
High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and work ethics
Working Hours:
11:00 AM to 6:00 PM – Work from Office (Ahmedabad)
2 hours at night to coordinate with the US office
Monday to Saturday (Saturday is Work From Home) - Timings may change as and when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹115,000.00 per month
