We are seeking a motivated Analyst - Corporate Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role will focus on general ledger accounting, accounts payable, month-end close, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in both AP and general accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Oversee AP processes, including invoice coding, payment processing, vendor setup, and compliance with company policies.
- Month-End Close & Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries, manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset activities, ensuring timely close.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and implement automation to improve efficiency.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Assist with external audits, ensure SOX compliance, and prepare necessary documentation for tax inquiries.
- Reporting & Ad-Hoc Projects: Prepare financial reports and support special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 3–7 years in GL accounting, AP, and financial reporting.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems, AP tools – Bill.com, Coupa etc. and advanced MS Excel.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CPA or CA preferred.
- Industry Experience: Exposure to public accounting, SaaS, or similar industries
