About the role
As the Aquatics Operations Supervisor, this role will support the smooth and compliant operation of Council’s swimming pools by overseeing daily, weekly and annual reporting, and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation. Working closely with the Operations Team Leader, this role is central to maintaining safe, high‑quality aquatic facilities for the community.
This role has a vacancy at both the Ashfield Aquatic Centre and the Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre. Please note that due to the nature of the role, it will have the ability to work across all Inner West Council aquatic centres.

Remuneration
$71,080.88 - $ 79,154.92 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation with all the specific competencies in Aquatic Technical Operations or equivalent industry qualifications
Demonstrated experience in swimming pool operation and supervision.
Current Pool Lifeguard Licence, Application of First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation, and Oxygen Equipment.
Proven ability to take responsibility for safety of patrons.
Interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
