Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the company’s incoming payments and outstanding invoices. This role ensures timely collection, accurate record-keeping, and strong customer relationship management to support healthy cash flow and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues and customer disputes in a timely manner.
• Prepare and distribute regular AR aging reports to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to manage invoicing and credit limits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.
• Support month-end closing processes and assist with audit requests.
• Recommend improvements to collection processes and credit policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance/accounting role.
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of AR best practices, billing processes, and collections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a high-volume AR environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with credit analysis and customer risk assessment.
