Job Description
We are on the hunt for a talented Architect / Designer to join our Melbourne studio, commencing July 2026. This is a multifaceted role where you will work closely with Project Leads, Senior Management, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design and technical outcomes across a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and coordinating technical packages for project delivery
Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external consultants
Contributing to the design and delivery of projects across rail, infrastructure, and aviation sectors
Assisting with project bids, competitions, and business development initiatives
Supporting the creation of innovative, contextually responsive design solutions
Coordinating with engineering disciplines across multiple projects
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and best practice procedures
Participating in internal initiatives including mentoring, CPD, and business growth activities
Supporting the delivery of projects to a high standard of quality and design excellence
Qualifications
Master of Architecture
Registration with ARBV (or eligibility via AACA pathways)
Minimum 3+ years’ relevant experience (including at least 2 years post-graduation)
Experience working on major construction projects (rail, infrastructure, or aviation highly regarded)
Strong design, problem-solving, and technical detailing skills
Demonstrated experience working across projects of varying scale and complexity
Understanding of statutory, compliance, and safety requirements
Proficiency in Autodesk software (Revit highly regarded)
Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (particularly InDesign)
Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently
Strong interest in city-making and design-led outcomes
