Reporting to: Regional Manager
Location: Pune
Role and Responsibilities:
• Sales Promotion & Strategy Implementation
• Communicate the sales promotion plan to sales field team members in assigned area and supervise all sales and marketing activities are executed as per the SOPs provided
• Ensure execution of SKU wise and value wise monthly achievement of area primary sales plan
• Ensure execution of SKU wise and value wise monthly achievement of area secondary sales plan
• Implement the sales schemes as per the scheme circular
• Ensure regular billing of the area stockist as per the provided guidelines
• Ensure stock management of the area stockist as per the provided stock norms
• Facilitate coordination between sales team and customer to achieve sales targets
• Executing the sales promotion plan through field team on a monthly basis
• Execution of the marketing campaigns through field team as per assigned timelines
• Ensure proper detailing of product features and benefits using official detailing tools through field team
• Provide feedback on execution of the given marketing campaigns
• Planning
• Assist the RM in planning for the area by providing information on the market environment
• Submitting the inventory requirement of their area stockist to RM as per area sales plan
• Monitoring the execution of the sales promotion plan through field sales team
• Providing competitor information and feedback on the category and business on regular basis
• Cover the SEs customer list as per the assigned coverage plan
• Ensure the team’s completes daily reporting in SFDC and timely submission of their tour plans, monthly report, KSFs and expense statements
• Ensure timely submission of tour plans, monthly report, KSFs and expense statements
• Identifying new markets in his/her area for increasing the business prospects
• Review sales of field team members and provide regular feedback to the team
• Should ensure that all customers are covered through the field sales team as per the coverage plan and execution of permanent journey plan
• Distribution Management
• Monitor stockist performance through defined KPIs of the assigned area
• Conduct due diligence and validate the new stockist appointments proposed by the field sales team
• Handle the escalations of the stockist and retailers through regular visits to sort out their issues and concerns regarding invoicing , accounts, price, competition, demand generation, slow moving products and schemes
• Supervise the stockist and retailers meetings
• People Management
• Ensure monthly review of sales performance vis a vis targets and initiate corrective actions, guidance to team members
• Ensure that Sales Executives conduct business as per the Roche code of conduct and SHE norms
• Should do training need analysis and coordinate with the Field Training Managers to identify development action items of the team members and ensure successful execution of the same
• Identify coaching needs and coach on the identified areas of the team members and ensure successful execution of the same
• Conduct regular team meetings (JCMs), review SE performance and share analysis (outcome) with concerned SE and reporting RM.
• Ensure HR activities of the team members are completed within defined timelines
• Control attrition, conduct interviews and timely selection of team members,
• Conduct regular appraisals, development recommendations, guide and provide feedback to the team members
• Provide collaboration between departments and the field force
• Others
• Handle all the escalations from stockiest/dealers/retailers/chemists/customers
• Ensure all the sales activities of the team members are conducted in a complaint manner and as per Roche code of conduct
• Follow Roche Safety Health & Environment (SHE) guidelines
Education & Experience:
Education - any Graduate preferably with MBA
Experience - 6-8 years with minimum 3 years of people management experience
