Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Assistant located in Chennai. The Articled Assistant will contribute to a variety of assignments, including auditing, financial reporting, preparation of tax returns, and assisting clients with tax compliance. Responsibilities include analyzing financial records, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, supporting the preparation of reports, and conducting research to provide business insights. This role involves working closely with senior professionals and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards
• Proficiency in tax compliance, preparation of tax returns, and understanding of taxation laws
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and interpret financial data
• Proficiency in software tools such as MS Excel, Word, and accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and preparation of reports
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related fields (pursuing CA preferred)
• Familiarity with the industries served (e.g., Technology, Real Estate, MSMEs) is an added advantage
