The Asia South Labor Relations Lead and India CSC (Citi Service Center) HR Lead is a key member of the Asia South cluster HR leadership team.

As the Asia South Labor Relations Lead, the role holder leads and manages a team that is responsible for Labor/Union & Collective negotiations, regulatory advisory, and reporting to authorities. The role holder closely collaborates and partners with stakeholders like the CHROs, HR Risk & Control, Compliance and HR Legal to deliver their objectives.

As the India CSC HR Lead, the role holder is responsible for partnering with senior leaders in the CSC on all employee related matters. They influence and work with multiple teams in HR to help achieve business goals and deliver critical support for the people strategy including but not limited to programs for employee engagement, organizational effectiveness and leadership development. The successful candidate for this role will have experience advising senior leadership on complex HR issues, including investigations, employee relations matters and overall disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities:

As the Asia South Labor Relations Lead:

Responsible for Labor/Union & Collective Negotiations

Regulatory Advisory (HR and Local Labor Law)

Owns Process for Individual and Collective Negotiations

Owns Oversight & Reporting of Relevant Information to Labor Authorities shared responsibilities with disciplines as needed (Compensation, ER, etc.)

Regulation applicability, Management, and closure of RCs- Initial Impact Assessment, coordination with global disciplines on assignment, Impact Assessment & action plan closure, liaising with ICRM

Policy applicability under labor law and changes in local employment law- Implementation is coordinated by Labor Relations in each country with Employment Law, ER, other COEs or HR Delivery accordingly.

Support CHROs on Ad Hoc Work

Participates in a range of regulatory exams and internal audit reviews.
As the India CSC HR Lead

Develop, attract, and retain talent to successfully support the India CSCs
Leveraging data to support decision making in partnership with senior management to recommend, develop, and execute business plans.
Need to anticipate, evaluate and respond appropriately to developments in the local and international environments impacting HR policy and identify and resolve key complex and diverse HR issues.
Partner with HR business partners and specialist teams to deliver HR solutions that contribute to the overall CSC business, and enable the business to evolve to meet marketplace and customer needs.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, driving compliance withapplicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create.
Recommend staffing levels required to carry out unit roles and responsibilities while establishing and adhering to talent management processes, compensation, and performance management programs.
Qualifications:

12+ years of relevant experience
Experience in collaborating and partnering across multiple teams
Experience in Banking HR Risk and Control / Labour Relations
Experience partnering with senior leadership and advising on complex HR matters.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

Bachelors/University degree;
Master’s degree preferred
