Role Overview
The Claims Payroll Consultant is responsible for an efficient payroll and administrative service for the injury management team and injured workers in accordance with workers compensation & financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Timely calculation of entitlements, processing of pay schedules, accurate recording of payments and maintenance of databases including SIMS. The Claims Payroll Officer provides the highest standards of customer service and competency in the management of entitlements while contributing to the achievement of the Injury Management Unit goals, objectives & targets.
Requirements
No specific qualifications are required. However, the successful applicant must gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. Additionally, the incumbent will need to undertake RRHAN – EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which must be updated every three years.
Remuneration
The salary range for this role is ASO3 $67,58+ - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
