About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with experience in accounts receivable, general accounting support, and financial reporting. They will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring smooth financial operations across the organization.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management:
Process and issue invoices, credit notes, and statements to customers
Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections to maintain healthy cash flow
Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
General Accounting Support:
Assist in month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
Support financial reporting and maintain accurate records in the accounting system
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Ad hoc duties where required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance or similar roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
Strong communication skills
