Job Description
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
• Record transactions such as expenses, revenues, and invoices.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Track and report on budget performance, highlighting discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Any ad hoc duties as requested by the Head of Finance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should:
• Be fully AAT Qualified (or have equivalent experience)
• Be familiar with finance systems
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Be available on short notice
