We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as parental leave cover.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting daily transactions and periodic financial reporting, helping us deliver accurate, high-quality financials to our stakeholders. What the role involves:
Complete bank reconciliations on a daily basis
Support customer and intercompany invoicing
Maintain fixed asset records
Process employee expenses and credit card transactions
Assist with month-end close, Journal entries and BAS preparation
Support audit activities
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in an accounting role.
System proficiency: experience of using SAP and intermediate user of Excel.
Communication: excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork: ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other required skills: attention to detail and time management skills to meet critical deadline.
