An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a new centralised accounts team in Bristol. The team provide the finance function for our 3 Specialist Division Sites

The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience in a similar role, preferably in the motor trade. An eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate financial information in a timely manner is a must, with careful adherence to process and application of the accounting system. Good organisational skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is required. Responsibilities include:

Support the Divisional Accountant and deputise in their absence
Manage the Accounts Assistants ensuring the team works efficiently, meeting its deadlines and producing quality records
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly management and annually audited accounts
Oversee well maintained and reconciled nominal, vehicle, sales and purchase ledgers
Manage the monthly demonstrator vehicle stock write down process
Regular review of vehicle sale profit reports for accuracy
Maintain vehicle bonus and finance/insurance income accruals
Supervise bank and vehicle funding levels and reconciliations
Handle the collation and submission of payroll data to our centralised payroll team
Liaise with our teams at the Centres, Manufacturers, customers, suppliers, and auditors
