As part of the Procuret team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insight across the business. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to support reconciliations, reporting, customer account management, and the financial operations that underpin our products across both Australia and New Zealand.

The Role
As an Assistant Accountant at Procuret, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and compliance across the Procuret Group, globally, including:
Bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting, including, reconciliation entries, preparation of group consolidations, statutory journals, month-end and year-end adjustments
Preparing accurate and timely management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts
Preparing withholding tax reporting, payroll tax reporting, end-to-end payroll processing, superannuation reporting as well as monthly statutory tax filings
Engage with external accounting and taxation advisers including supporting external accountants in the preparation of periodic and annual audited financial statements.
Support during R&D, audit and tax engagements
Preparation and calculation of payout and refund requests, rebate and commission reporting, modifications to customer plans and special rebate accounting.
Performing other administrative duties including preparing ad-hoc reporting, documentation and templates
Contributing to ongoing automation and improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting
What we're looking for?
Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related discipline
Newly qualified or currently completing CA/CPA
2–3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance operations role
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data entry
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scenarios to a range of stakeholders
Proficiency in Xero and MS Office, particularly Excel
A proactive and adaptive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-team environment and is comfortable taking on new challenges

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
