Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will be Working On
All things accounting, including:
Multi-currency bank reconciliations
Various monthly general ledger balance sheet reconciliations and associated journals, intercompany re-charges
Maintenance of fixed asset and lease registers
Lease accounting journals
Monthly government GST reporting
Employee credit card program and expense system administration
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable back up support
Assist with annual financial & statutory reporting.
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
If you have the following credentials, you will thrive in this role:
Accounting Degree or applicable Tafe qualifications
At least two years’ practical accounting / bookkeeping experience in mid to large manufacturing organisations
Experience in managing monthly journals, bank and other ledger reconciliation processes and GST reporting
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
High level excel skills and exposure to full suite ERP system subledgers to sort large volumes of data
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve with self-initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with varied stakeholders
Work experience in manufacturing or project services industries is preferred but not essential
