M B Connected are partnering with a well-established organisation based in Erdington, seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to join their finance team for a period of 3 months. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the daily finances.

Key responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Processing invoices and payments.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with year-end accounts and audits.
• Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key requirements:
• AAT qualified or part-qualified.
• 2 + years work experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
