We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to be part of the head office team in a rapidly growing company with a real social purpose.
Octavia House Schools Limited provide sector leading specialist education and therapy for pupils who have suffered adverse childhood experiences. The company currently has four schools in London and Essex and is expanding with two new schools currently being developed.
The company accounts team is based in the Head Office in Kennington (SE11) and the Assistant Accountant will work alongside the Head of Finance and the Accountant. The accounts function is well developed and has up until now been outsourced, but is now being brought in-house, hence this new position being created.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1+ years of finance support experience
Experience of working with Xero would be ideal
A self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
Someone with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with all colleagues
Experience of processing, tracking and recording incoming and outgoing transactions
