We have an exciting new opportunity available in our Energy division for an Assistant Accountant to join our Energy Division based in our Victoria Park Officer. The role will play an integral part within our accounts team
This is a fulltime fixed-term position covering for a Parental leave with the possibility of the position being made permanent depending on operational requirements. .

Key Responsibilities:
Providing support and assistance to our Senior Cost Controller.
Assisting Senior Cost Controller with timely claim preparation.
Actively involved with the Senior Cost Controller in further process improvement and implementing costs efficiencies controls.
Providing guidance around the payroll functions in order to enable greater reliability on payroll data within the claims area.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance
Experience working in a similar role within the Energy industry is highly regarded
High level of attention to detail
Strong Communication skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
