The role: You’ll play a key role in supporting the Residential Finance Team and Residential Customer Accounts Team on operational finances. You’ll be responsible for reconciliations of Resident billing and information records, PRODA and subsidy revenue. Reporting to the Finance Manager for Residential, you will join our team based at Mile End on full time basis.
What you’ll do:
Support the Residential Finance Team and Residential Customer Accounts Team
Perform reconciliations of PRODA and ACH Group Resident accounts to ensure accuracy of information records.
Perform accurate and timely update of PRODA Residential movements.
Reconciliations of residential care subsidy revenue of Medicare statements, B2B exceptions and resident database
Support with reconciling daily customer receipts to ensure the bank reconciliation is performed accurately and timely for ACH Group
Fee Run and Customer Statements for Residential Accounts and support across Residential Finance
Debtor Invoicing for Residential Care Adhoc Debtors
Conduct variance analysis to support residential divisional operations.
AN-ACC and Care Minute reconciliations for detailed divisional analysis and insights
Assist the Residential Finance team to ensure accurate and timely divisional reporting of month-end and year-end closing activities for the Residential Division
Assist Residential Finance team with Quarterly compliance reporting: Stewart Brown Reporting, Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR), Aged Care Quarterly Financial Report (QFR).
About you!
Customer Accounts, Accounts Receivable and Accounting knowledge with experience in a similar role
Ability to learn and interpret government subsidies
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to problem solve
Desire to contribute to a for-purpose organisation
Advanced computer software skills including Excel and Financial Management Systems
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively.
Passion to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
You will need:
A Police Check for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old at commencement
