Job Description: Assistant Accountant
We're seeking an exceptional Assistant Accountant with a passion for precision and compliance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting operational and strategic initiatives, and providing full end-to-end function support to external Associates and Senior Associates.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full end-to-end function support to external Associates and Senior Associates responsible for processing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and Bank reconciliation.
Manage Concur PO, Invoice, and Expense claim transactions daily and complete accounting review for transition posting integration.
Manage the Concur application, responsible for user/vendor setup, and master data setting.
Assist in preparing journals for IFRS16 Lease.
Reconcile Balance Sheets and resolve outstanding items monthly.
Support forecasting and budgeting processes with detailed expense analysis.
Process intercompany transactions and ensure accurate recording.
Execute month-end journals accurately and timely.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A degree in accounting, with experience in a top-tier accounting firm preferred.
Working towards CPA or CA qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and Bank rec function.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
